HATT Foundation Food Relief Program provides temporary food assistance for eligible low-income and needy children, families, and elders monthly.
HATT Foundation does not discriminate against any individual or group because of race, religion, age, national origin, color, height, weight, marital status, genetic information, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, political beliefs or disability.
Eligibility Rules
Individuals must pass all eligibility rules to get food relief benefits. Some of the eligibility rules are:
Identity - Individuals must show proof they are the person they claim to be. Applicants and all members of their household must provide proof of their identity.
Work Rules - Healthy adults, 18 to 50 years of age, who do not have dependent children or are not pregnant, can only get food relief benefits for 3 months in a 3-year period if they are not working or participating in a work or workfare program. Must provide proof to HATT weekly that they are consistently seeking work.
Income and Deductions – Most households must pass a gross income limit less than or equal to 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Households with a member disqualified for breaking Food Relief Program rules, felony drug trafficking, running away from a felony warrant, or not participating in a work program must have gross income less than or equal to 130% of the FPL.
Residency - Individuals must live in the state of Florida.
Citizenship - Individuals must be a U.S. citizen, USA Permanent Resident status, or have a qualified non-citizen status.
Child Support Cooperation - Certain individuals must cooperate with the state's child support enforcement agency to prove a child's legal relationship to their parent and to get the court to order child support payments.
Change Reporting - Households must report when the total monthly gross income increases, household number increases or decreases, or someone in the household becomes ineligible.
Ineligibility Reasons
People who are convicted of drug trafficking, who are running away from a felony warrant, who are involved in any illegal activities, who break Food Relief Program rules on purpose, and who are non-citizens without a qualified status.

Once completed e-mail the application to info@hatt1.com along with a copy of all household's government issued ID (e.g. Driver's license, FL Identification ID, passport, etc).
